Victor Victorious : Hitting new heights

It’s about time I sent another blog post what with the excellent news this morning of Victor’s lofty 15th position in the Sunday Times’ second annual Export Track 100 – recognising those small and medium-sized UK business enterprises with the fastest international growth. Victor’s high entry reflects the last two years of sales revenue.

Of course Victor is about expansion and disruption of the private jet charter space for the long-term. Our 15th position in last year’s Sunday Times Tech Track 100, based on three-year average sales growth of 142%, ably demonstrates the consistent yet impressive curve we are on.

That curve, too, has seen Victor outmanoeuvre the other European online jet charter providers with impressive turnover of over £16m, demonstrating to my mind that our brand is a clear market winner. I couldn’t be more proud of my company and entire team – not just for catching up our other online competitors in almost half the time that they’ve been in business but also, having examined the ‘year end’ numbers, for outpacing their performance by generating almost twice the booking revenues.

In recent weeks, the company’s profile has elevated significantly. Influential features in City AM and The Memo have segued into powerful features for wealth management and thought leadership bibles Spear’s  and Billionaire. I have been quoted on the demise of US competitor BlackJet – an article on the respected Business Insider reminding a significant global audience of how to do charter right, whilst reminding the investor community to ignore the short-term hype around so many of these flashy new charter players and carry out due diligence before committing. The enterprise economics are vital and we have a firm grasp on them!

Victor has so very much planned for the coming months in terms of the hi-tech, hi-touch service that increasingly benefits our customers and industry partners. Having moved into a new London HQ that was formerly Euro HQ for NetJets – saying much about how far we have come – the Victor team is also gearing up for further meaningful expansion throughout the Europe and the U.S. These are exciting times as we continue to innovate private jet charter and create a game-changing marketplace for the contemporary traveller.

Since its inception in 2011, Victor has successfully grown through word of mouth recommendations and member referrals. The transparency and consistency of the service, combined with a unique blend of high technology and high-touch customer service has established a new level of personal service – a truly global 24-7 service resulting in trusting and loyal, returning customers in the UK, US and Europe.

As Victor approaches one of industry’s big get-togethers, EBACE, and a busy summer of travel beyond, my team is well prepared to meet the big opportunities ahead and create new ones that really revolutionise private air travel for years and years to come.

Jet charter by Victor means always being connected and in control – a mantra my team and I also live by as we scale and further enhance this amazing business for the long-term.

Victor makes flying on demand easier and faster than ever before, a winning proposition reflected in our Sunday Times success this morning. The Export Track is our success but let’s not forget that this is the discerning flyer’s time – it’s their jet charter.

Here’s to the unmissable Victor journey ahead….

Best wishes,

Clive
