The aircraft of your choice, matched to your trip
As the northern hemisphere bids farewell to summer, thoughts turn to skiing. For snow-lovers who cannot wait to hit the slopes (and the après-ski), it’s important to make the most of the time in the mountains.
Reaching smaller airports, closer to the resorts, often means shorter runways where not all aircraft are permitted to land. For best access across the Alps to airports including Sion (SIR), Samedan (SMV) and Bolzano (BZO), Victor recommends the following jets:
Embraer Phenom 300E – Super Light:
One of the most popular aircraft in its class, the Phenom 300E is perfect for a quick hop to the Alps with up to 7 passengers. With a completely refitted interior by BMW Designworks, you’ll fly in class-leading comfort thanks to improved ergonomics, more headroom and aisle space, and a separate lavatory. The generous luggage compartment accommodates six pairs of skis with six soft bags or four pairs with four medium-sized suitcases (25kg per suitcase). A folding staircase, rare on a super light jet, makes passenger access much easier.
The Citation Latitude – Super Mid-Size:
The Cessna Citation Latitude offers a 6-foot stand-up cabin and a flat floor, suitable for up to 9 passengers. With full entertainment system, LED lighting and wireless connectivity, you will instantly feel that you’re travelling in a modern, Super Mid-Size jet at the cutting edge. A low cabin altitude of 5,950 feet while cruising at 45,000 feet keeps you feeling refreshed and ready to hit the slopes.
The Falcon 2000LX – Heavy:
A winning combination of long-range capability with short field-performance, makes an ideal aircraft for the ski season for up to 10 passengers flying to the Alps from outside of Europe. The Falcon 200LX can comfortably fly direct from Dubai or New York to Chambéry Savoie, the main access point for skiing in Courchevel.
Whatever your requirements, Victor will help you source your perfect aircraft, so you can fly faster to the mountains in comfort and style.
