In our new blog series, we take you on a virtual tour of Victor’s offices around the globe – and introduce you to some of the faces helping you to fly faster.
Having worked at some of the world’s biggest PR and communications agencies and a leading business school, our Client Services Director June Sebley’s experience covers a wide spectrum that includes business development, corporate relations, customer service, management trends and networking – and her brief at Victor involves all of the above.
Joining the team three years ago, she has watched the company grow from small-scale start-up to industry player: “What’s so exciting about working here is having the opportunity to do something totally different, to step away from the traditional way of providing a jet-charter service, and to look at the industry from a completely different angle. We’re really disrupting the market by providing a first-class service at a truly transparent price.”
It’s providing a first-class service that’s at the core of June’s role, which can range from negotiating a partnership with a major international hotel group to ensuring doggie treats for Victor’s four-legged flyers are ready and waiting on board an aircraft. “One of the best things about a start-up like Victor is the sheer variety of daily life here. We’re a pretty streamlined operation, which means we can implement new ideas far quicker than a big corporation,” she says.
The collegiate atmosphere helps to foster close working relationships too. According to June, “What unites everybody at Victor is that we are committed to going the extra mile.” For her, it’s all about the personal touch: “We try to get to know all of our members as well as possible – whether they have a favourite brand of gin, which newspapers they prefer, or whether they are flying because it’s a special occasion. That ‘hi-touch’ is an important part of our service.”
Knowing what a client wants, and anticipating their needs almost before they do, is key to providing a first-class service. Personal relationships make all the difference: “Having great people to work with – both inside and outside the business – makes the customer experience so much smoother,” she says.
With a contacts book spanning the globe, it’s fair to say that June’s able to smooth the way for Victor’s clients wherever they’re going. Whether you are looking for exclusive access to the best rates at a top hotel or for the perfect place for dinner in Rio, take advantage of Victor’s global partnerships with like-minded brands that are experts in luxury travel. What’s the key to her success? “It’s all down to knowing the right people, in all the right places,” she says with a smile.
