Meet your yacht: Vieux Port, Cannes, is around 12 minutes (5km) drive from the airport

Amalfi Coast, Italy

Fly into: Nápoli / Capodichino International Airport (NAP)
Meet your yacht: Choice of marinas on the Bay of Naples
Don’t miss: Positano, Amalfi and Ravello are three jewels nestled along this coastline, or sail to Ischia. The chic town of Capri is also perfect for a day excursion. Take the funicular railway to the top of the town for stunning views. Have lunch at La Capannina, and an afternoon spent shopping.

Fly into: Olbia / Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB)
Meet your yacht: Marina Olbia or Porto Cervo
Don’t miss: The beautiful Maddalena Archipelago is made up of 62 islands and islets. La Maddalena, the only inhabited island, has one of the most picturesque towns in Sardinia, known as ‘Small Paris’. The protected pink coral-grained beaches of “Spiaggia Rosa” on Budelli are equally unmissable.

Fly into: Ibiza Airport (IBZ)
Meet your yacht: Puerto de Palma or Puerto de Ibiza
Don’t miss: Menorca is all-too-often overlooked but its wild landscape, with deserted beaches and fragrant pine forests, is the perfect place for a family holiday or a relaxing retreat. With so many beautiful coves and inlets on the larger islands, don’t forget to set sail for the archipelago’s hidden little treasure, Formentera.

Fly into: Tivat Airport (TIV)
Meet your yacht: Porto Montenegro
Don’t miss: Sail along the stunning coastline to Dubrovnik, in neighbouring Croatia, or carry on to the historic Hvar, steeped in art, culture, architecture and nightlife, surrounded by fields of pines, lavender, rosemary, olives and vines. The ‘Croatian Madeira’, it is the sunniest and greenest of the Croatian islands.
